tables - a repository for the data
relationships - tie the table together
queries - stored questions or actions to be applied to the tables
forms - a means of displaying, modifying, and adding data
reports - turning data into information
data access pages - forms viewed in a browser
macros - a means of automating your system
modules - coding?
